378th AEW welcome new commander
U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Quaid Quadri relinquished command of the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW) to Col. Seth Spanier during a change of command ceremony at an undisclosed location in the Central Command area of responsibilty, April 6, 2024. Spanier, who served as the 7th Bomb Wing Commander out of Dyess Air Force Base, has been selected to lead the second rotation under the new Expeditionary Air Base model. The new XAB model shifts the construct of Air Expeditionary Wings from all active, reserve, and guard components into force elements centered upon Mission Generation, Command and Control, and the establishment of an operating base.
